Websites that Aren’t About Books

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme held by Broke and Bookish

May 10: Ten Websites I Love That Aren’t About Books (you could go specific and do like top ten favorite food/travel/craft/fitness blogs I follow, 10 websites I visit daily,  10 fun websites I waste a lot of time on etc).

I’m probably not going to manage ten this week, just because I don’t do too much on the internet.

Bloglovin

Seriously, its not about books in particular (it can be), but I don’t know what I would do without it. You can follow any blog regardless of what site – WordPress, Blogger, self-hosted, etc – it comes from. Follow me here.

Facebook

I mostly use this for keeping up with family members and friends that I would have otherwise stopped talking to long ago.

Pinterest

I love Pinterest. Seriously. Once again I have more than one Pinterest that you can follow me at: my personal, my craft onemy writing one, and the one I set up for my book.

Ravelry

Ravelry is second only to Pinterest when it comes to sites I use for my crafting. I have a profile where you can see what I’ve made and a store where you can download my (free!) knitting patterns.

Twitter

I don’t know if its insantiy or genius, but I have two accounts on twitter. The main one is my personal – CamrynDaytona – and the other is my bookish one – WritingCrafter. I just love the community I have, particularly my school friends (and teachers) on my personal twitter. One of my teachers (I’ve never had him, but he teaches at my school and we talk a lot), as a book for every occasion, and I just love keeping up with people I don’t see very often. This is doubly nice with graduation and parting ways literally a week and a half away.

Webkinz

Yes, I have the maturity of a five year old apparently and I still play on Webkinz. A lot.
