I'm finally finished with my Ravenclaw scarf and I couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out. Longer than expected, once I added the tassels, but that's definitely not a problem. It's bronze and blue, the Ravenclaw colors in the books, as opposed to the blue and silver from the movies. Oh, and I've discovered the self timer button on my camera, which is great for dramatic selfies. ————————— #knitting #knitintheround #knit #scarf #ravenclaw #ravenclawpride #ravenclawhouse #ravenclawscarf #harrypotter #housescarf #harrypotterhouse #hogwartshouse #housepride #harrypotterscarf #harrypotterhousescarf #books #nerdyknits #nerdyknitter #nerdyknitting
How do you design the stuff in your redbubble shop?
Why do you combine reading and writing on this blog?
Because they go hand-in-hand. Without writers you don’t have readers, and without readers you don’t have writers.
Ebook or Paper?
This is a hard question so I wrote an entire post about the subject. Check it out here.
Will you review my book?
Maybe. It depends on what your book is about. Contact me (info here) and we’ll talk.
What is your favorite book?
Can you recommend me a book?
Sure! Either check out my reviews and see for yourself, or tell me a bit about what you like and I’ll give you a personalized recommendation.
Why do you give so many four and five star reviews?
I’ve been reading long enough to figure out pretty quickly if I’m going to like a book or not by the author, summary, or publisher, so I’m careful about what I pick up. I also read reviews before I read things, and because I’m just a happy person. I’ve been told I can be annoyingly optimistic and I understand the struggle that authors go through to write and publish their works.
And because if I really hate it I seldom finish it, and I rarely publish a review of a book I didn’t finish.
