December Wrap Up

December was a pretty fun month for me, and not just because it was the last month of 2016 (which needed to be over long before it was).

Unfortunately I didn’t get around to finishing any books because of how busy I was – finals, skating, job, etc – so both of these books are just books that I was currently reading during December.

October & November Wrap Up

Ah yes, as is becoming the norm, I’ve been awfully slow at getting up these posts, so I thought I would just go ahead and combine them.

I was busy through most of October with my Doctor Strange cosplay, which you can see in the Memorable Moments category, and November I was busy preparing for the end of my first semester of College, getting ready for an Ice Show, and working at my job.

Comics

One of the biggest reasons I’ve not been doing as much reading as usual, is because I’ve been too busy reading comics, which is both good and bad. Good because I love comics, bad because I also love books. But comics – at least the digital ones I get on my phone – are much easier to read between classes, or while standing in line at the cafeteria.

As I’m sure you’ve noticed, I’ve been super busy recently and haven’t had time to film and stuff, but if you’d like to see my unboxing of my Marvel Collector Corps: Doctor Strange Box feel free to click the link and bounce over to my channel!

August and September Wrap Up

Obviously, I’ve not been around much. My last movie review was published on August t5th, my last book review on the 5th. Everything that has been published is something that I scheduled months ago.

I blame school, but its certainly not the only thing to blame. I mean, clearly I’ve had free time, I’ve just been using it for other things. Namely, my Halloween costume for the year, which is Doctor Strange. I’ve been sewing that and reading about a hundred comics. I wish I was joking, that’s seriously about how many I’ve read. So starting this month I’m going to work on budgeting my time better.

Also: I have to post a huge shoutout to Of Pages and Ink because I won a giveaway on their blog and won two amazing books (that I got to pick out!) The Sin Eater’s Daughter and Silver in the Blood.

July 2016 Wrap Up

This month was Camp NaNoWriMo which I didn’t get as much done on as I would have liked, but I also started my first ever job, so I feel as though thats a pretty good excuse. I also played a lot of Wii U since I just bought that with my first paycheck. Pretty awesome, I know (raise your hand if you’re PUMPED for Breath of the Wild).

Another thing I did this month: hold a a funeral for a CHAIR at a special screening of the web show RWBY (if you’re interested in this cheek out next week’s Media Monday). And it was the release of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child!! Did anyone go to a Midnight release? I did!

PS: If you’ve not voted in my Poll yet, please do!!

June 2016 Wrap Up

June was a very fun month. Possibly the best part was the Fanboy Expo that I attended with my best friend, and my Scarlet Witch Cosplay that I made for that event. I also got to go to the local Pride Parade.

This post is under a read more due to length.

May 2016 Wrap Up

This May I gave a speech, graduated high school (all the exams!), and went to Disney World with my BFF as our senior trip. So reading was the last thing on my mind a lot of the time. However, I also participated in the Bout of Books Read-A-Thon and started my own Alphabetical Book Goal. What saved me and let me read so many books was the car rides to and from Florida and having access to ebooks on my phone while standing in lines.

It was a busy month, to say the least. It was fun, but a part of me is very glad its over.

April 2016 Wrap Up

This is my wrap up for April 2016, including my book haul, books I’ve read, reviews I’ve posted, and my May TBR. It’s a bit of a long post, but I’d love for you to check it out and then let me know if you’ve read any of these books and – if you posted one – link me to your hauls and wrap-ups!
