October & November Wrap Up

Ah yes, as is becoming the norm, I’ve been awfully slow at getting up these posts, so I thought I would just go ahead and combine them.

I was busy through most of October with my Doctor Strange cosplay, which you can see in the Memorable Moments category, and November I was busy preparing for the end of my first semester of College, getting ready for an Ice Show, and working at my job.

Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco

One of the biggest reasons I’ve not been doing as much reading as usual, is because I’ve been too busy reading comics, which is both good and bad. Good because I love comics, bad because I also love books. But comics – at least the digital ones I get on my phone – are much easier to read between classes, or while standing in line at the cafeteria.

As I’m sure you’ve noticed, I’ve been super busy recently and haven’t had time to film and stuff, but if you’d like to see my unboxing of my Marvel Collector Corps: Doctor Strange Box feel free to click the link and bounce over to my channel!

August and September Wrap Up

Obviously, I’ve not been around much. My last movie review was published on August t5th, my last book review on the 5th. Everything that has been published is something that I scheduled months ago.

I blame school, but its certainly not the only thing to blame. I mean, clearly I’ve had free time, I’ve just been using it for other things. Namely, my Halloween costume for the year, which is Doctor Strange. I’ve been sewing that and reading about a hundred comics. I wish I was joking, that’s seriously about how many I’ve read. So starting this month I’m going to work on budgeting my time better.

Also: I have to post a huge shoutout to Of Pages and Ink because I won a giveaway on their blog and won two amazing books (that I got to pick out!) The Sin Eater’s Daughter and Silver in the Blood.

Ten Books To Read If You Are In The Mood For Fairytales!

Top Ten Tuesday is an event held weekly by The Broke and the Bookish and this week’s theme is Ten Books to Read if You’re in the Mood for ____ and I chose Fairy Tales! I’m not doing exactly ten, because I’m suggesting authors and series rather than just books.

Top Ten Tuesday: Authors

Welcome to this week’s top ten Tuesday. Today’s focus is authors. I’ve put them in alphabetical order, because I couldn’t bare to put them in any other order (such as by preference because I love them all!)

Desert Island Book Tag

Booksxorxmisery posted the Desert Island Book Tag (and we’re not sure where it came from, I couldn’t find the source either) and it really caught my attention so I’m going to try it out myself.
